Past Simple

الماضي البسيط

تحدث عن أحداث انتهت في الماضي، واستخدم did للنفي والسؤال والإجابات القصيرة والتأكيد.Talk about finished past events; use did for negatives, questions, short answers, and emphasis.

01 — افهم القاعدةUNDERSTAND

القاعدة The rule, ببساطة.simply.

Positive • الإثبات

في الإثبات نستخدم التصريف الثاني للفعل. نضيف ed غالبًا للفعل المنتظم، أما الأفعال الشاذة فيجب تعلم شكلها.

Subject + past verb↳ I visited my aunt.↳ She went home.↳ They saw the match.

Negative • النفي

نستخدم did not أو didn't ثم نعيد الفعل إلى صيغته الأساسية.

Subject + did not + base verb↳ I didn't travel.↳ He did not eat.

Questions & short answers • السؤال والجواب

نبدأ السؤال بـ Did ثم الفاعل والفعل الأساسي. نجيب باختصار: Yes, ... did أو No, ... didn't.

Did + subject + base verb?↳ Did you call? Yes, I did.↳ Did she leave? No, she didn't.

Emphasis • التأكيد

نستخدم did قبل الفعل الأساسي عندما نريد تأكيد أن الحدث حصل فعلًا.

Subject + did + base verb↳ I did finish my work.↳ They did arrive on time.
